The flag hoisting programme was conducted on 26th January 2026 at 7:30 a.m. on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda. The Chief Guest, Dr. Rakesh Choudhary, MOCHC, Gulabpur, graciously hoisted the national flag. The programme was organised under the guidance of the Principal of the school, Mrs. Asha Goyal. The ceremony was marked by patriotic fervour and active participation of staff and students.
Manjeet Choudhary secured 2nd position, winning the Silver Medal and Trophy at the National-level Shooting Championship 2026. Sarita Choudhary, Anita Choudhary, and Sanjeet Singh also participated in the National-level Shooting Championship
Akshat Kumar Lakhara, a student of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda, secured 1st position in the Under-19 category at the State-Level FIDE Rated Chess Championship held in Jaipur from 21–23 August 2026. He displayed exceptional skill and defeated higher-rated players. Akshat received a cash prize of ₹10,000 and improved his FIDE rating by 100 points. He will now represent Rajasthan at the national level.
VKV,Hurda, showcased an impressive performance at the WSRO, held in July.The school participated with 13 teams, competing against more than 100 teams from across the region.The students secured 1st position in line following category & 4th position in the Young Scientist category.Both teams are eligible for nationals.
