Spic-Macay - “Flute Recital” – programme was conducted on August 9th, 2018 at VKV, Hurda. World-renowned artists Sri Praveen Godkhindi and Sri Kiran Godkhindi performed and played various ragas on flute and mesmerized the audience with their performances.
It is a moment of pride for all of us. Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda secured IInd position at the District level Basketball Tournament for Girls (under-19) held at Noble School, Bhilwara. Four of our girls have been selected for the State Basketball Team which is an achievement for the school. Monika Rathore, Avishi Shah, Nidhi Yadav and Pooja Gurjar of class XII standard were selected.
District Level (Bhilwara) Air Weapon Shooting Competition (from August 10-12, 2018) was hosted by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda. The programme was inaugurated by Bhilwara Collector Ms Shuchi Tyagi. She visited and appreciated the activities conducted by various departments in the school and addressed the VKV staff and students.
Cultural Activity week was organised at VKV Hurda from February 11th to 16th of 2019 in the Nursery Section, where Reading, Drawing, Story Telling, Action Song, Dance and Fancy Dress Competition were conducted for school children. In the Fancy Dress Competition, students dressed in various costumes, such as vendors, soldiers, gods and goddesses, etc.
The 70th Republic Day of our country was celebrated at VKV, Hurda with passion and zeal. The Flag Hoisting Ceremony was followed by a March Past and a Cultural Programme by the students which were the main attraction during the celebration. Our Orchestra played patriotic tunes to create a festive atmosphere.
On 15th & 17th February 2019, Science and Maths Exhibition was organised at VKV, Hurda School premises. The students of classes III to X participated in the exhibition with lots of excitement and zeal. Various working models on Science and Maths subjects were displayed by the students in the exhibition which were a delight to Watch. They learnt a lot during this exhibition while working closely on different projects.
The students of VKV, Hurda School with their hard work & dedication have cleared IIT-JEE Advance & NEET Medical Entrance Exams 2019 and made school as well as their family proud. Mast. Aditya Badola secured AIR – 11 and joined IIT Mumbai, Ku. Palak Agiwal secured AIR – 2565 and joined IIT Kharagpur, Ku. Medha Agrawal secured AIR – 909 in NEET (Medical Entrance Exam) and Ku. Rajshree Baldi secured AIR – 11148 in NEET (Medical Entrance Exam). It was great to see that our school students are performing exceptionally well at the All India Level.
